I agree, Microsoft should keep the price at $500 to keep us early adopter happy at the cost of killing Xbox One life!

I don't care if I got it full price. And someone eles get a new console lesser then mines. I would be happy used that get a game with it.

 

Im simply amazed at how many drones we have that like being given the middle finger by big companies.

Guys I bought a car brand new about a year ago for $25000. Now they are selling a later model of that car for $24000 and it come with 10 years factory warranty, 12 months free servicing, and even a $2000 cash back bonus. I am so devistated! If I had of waited
they wouldn't have ripped me off and I wouldn't have to be on here crying like a child because a company sold me something and the sold it to another guy cheaper.

Oh and while we are at it. I bought age of empires 3 when it came out for $80. Then I bought three, count them, three expansions for $20 each when they were released. That works out at $140 and you know what. Steam had the lot for $8! That's right. EIGHT
STINKING DOLLARS!!!!!!

Do I care? Nope. It's all part of being a consumer!!!! Get over it or just don't buy it. Cause I gaurentee in a year, or even 6 months, the deals are only going to get better!!!!!

 

I've seen lots of people going on about this, and very few of them seem to notice this part:

*Includes Halo: Master Chief Collection, videos (such as Nightfall and Forward Unto Dawn), and previously released Halo game add-ons.

You'd get the same 15,000 credits if you picked up some combination of previous Halo games and DLC that totals $59.99+, not just the MCC.

 

Zero, im 38 so how much older do I have to be before I understand how great it is to be *** over by big companies? I really want to become a drone like you. And KILLEDBYDEATH86, the MCC is part of it and rewards those who simply waited a few weeks and shafts
those who bought the game originally and suffered the worst of the near unplayable multiplayer. Also, the rest is great for new people and I have no issue with it, but personally I won't be repurchasing a bunch of stuff I already own. Finally Dufful, if you
had bought it only to have a massive price cut or rebate just a few weeks later I bet you'd be upset. If this offer had come 3 months from now, I doubt anyone would care.

Finally, what most people don't understand because they don't read is that this is not a sale, its a promotion.

 

Mate I have bought plenty of things and then seen them on sale the next week! It happens! Get over it!!!

 

i'm 36 and understand it, this is how business works, they will cut prices and offer incentives to bring in new customers, it's not rocket science. but going around calling people names that don't agree with makes you seem much.... much younger and lacking
life experience. if you bought the game and feel ripped off, then call MS support, maybe you'll get some credit or free Live service to make up for it.

i bought Halo:MCC digitally on release, if i didn't feel that 4 Halo games was not worth $60 then i would have waited for the price to go down, but i missed out on getting a little credit, so what? still well worth $60.

 

I think it's funny that people feel "shafted" when it was their 'choice' to purchse it in the first place; instead of waiting a monthy or two, especially considering upcoming Christmas sales.

 

Zero, this is not a price cut, its a promotion. Also, I never said it wasn't worth it for 4 Halo games. However, the product is severely broken. The multiplayer which is half the game is barely playable, and the single player is filled with glitches. I've
worked retail a number of years and I understand business as well. Where I work if we sell someone a broken product that does not work as advertised, we give them a refund. If we have a price cut take place within a reasonable time frame, we give them the
difference back. The customer is happy and as a result they keep coming back to spend more money. If the customer is upset then they do not come back and don't spend anymore money. In both cases word of mouth is usually involved that can either hurt, or help
the stores reputation.

I have zero issue with any price cuts on any system as long as they happen within a reasonable time frame. Nintendo handled this perfectly with their 3DS price cut. They needed to cut the price shortly after the system hit so they gave early adopters 20
free classic games. Did they have to, no, but did the people who got it appreciate it, yes. I was one of those early adopters and was so happy with the way Nintendo handled the matter, I supported them even stronger then I had.

And Duffel, im done talking to you. If you can't understand that its not a sale, then please stop commenting. If you bought a product to have it go on sale a week later then its your issue for not going back to the store to get the difference. Most stores
will happily give it to you because they want your return business.

Well you must not know how too read because people were getting 15$ for it on release too your just too blind and thick to realize it.

So it makes us drones because you cant read or bargain shop.

Go read the entire thread before you start typing and maybe next time you wont look like an explicit deleted.

 

Halo had a horrible release with its multiplayer issues that got them bad review scaring away future customers, to keep them from running away they drop the price to bring people back in hoping to fix their reputation. This is the risk when you preorder
a new game that is unproven not yet reviewed by professionals. Next time understand the risk of being an early adapters that you are not being force to buy.

 

The price was not reduced! And they are not giving anyone anything they have not already had the option to get. Why are these people so thick!

Halo released with a 15$ gift to anyone who pre ordered through the Microsoft store. Now Microsoft wants to sell the product with a 15$ gift to anyone that buys it digitally.

Wheres the price cut involved wheres the slap in the face to early ADOPTERS???

You all need to suck it up and slap yourselves for not buying it the way that would get you the extra cash. Its your own fault now quit crying about it and learn to buy smarter.
