Microsoft display adapter problems

Fresh windows install and a xbox reset. Reinstalled controller drivers. Rebooted my router, other than that I am not sure what else I can do.

Forgot to mention that I have done network tests from the xbox

So 21H2 released on November 11th and I waited at least a month before updating so I am pretty sure I have tried this on 21H1 when I was last trying to get it to work, I don't really want to reinstall windows again, especially if its unnecessary. As for Windows 11, like most people I have no interest in it and I am likely to have other issues from installing a still new operating system. Also I do not have a TPM so I cant even if I wanted to. Looking at the way the image and sound breaks it seems more like an encoding or decoding issue but I will have another look at the LAN to be sure. This doesn't explain why my controller works on some games any not others, this suggests some kind of driver or config issue.

Something that occurred to me is that maybe it is using the WiFi instead of ethernet, I think I am going to have to use a packet inspector to determine this. If this is the case is there a way I can force it to use the ethernet connection?

Mate, it seems that right now there is an outage for Xbox Live services due to lot of players are contacting us regarding the same.

The best option for now is try waiting until the outage finally can be fixed and try using the adapter again (there is no ETA yet)

If the issue persist, maybe the adapter stop working properly and you may need to replace it

After grabbing some packets with wireshark I can confirm that it is using ethernet. Tests on the network show that everything is as it should be.

Controller is an Xbox controller connected wirelessly to my Xbox, I can try wired but the the connection between my controller and xbox has no issues, it has a problem going through the wireless adaptor app, I will try using it wired and see how it goes.

NAT type is open and again this is going over my local network, it is not cloud gaming or remote play. Unfortunately I do not have another internet connection to try. I should mention that I am a Cisco engineer and I have examined my LAN and done speed tests from my PC to router, Xbox one X does not have anything that will allow my to test the local network connection from Xbox to router.
