Microsoft Credit getting added to the wrong account due to Kinect sign in.

I used the "use a code" function through Kinect on Xbox one and it was accepted fine. What the issue is that when I used the function the Kinect must of thought I was someone else on the console and added the credits to them.

This is a problem as the account it got added to is a dummy account so my girlfriend can play games. So now there is $25 on the wrong account that is never used to purchase anything. I could use that account to purchase the DLC but if I wish to log into
another xbox somewhere else the DLC wont be there. This is a problem as I think the Kinect made the issue arise.

I can not believe, I love this stuff, I just added some credit do my account to buy P90 and now I can not buy it anymore.

What’s wrong with u Microsoft, u are dumping your own product, kinect is just for dance now. What a shame!!!

Sorry to hear it. The console will not apply an amount to a tag unless it is signed in and it won't sign anyone in without notification.

As no one here can assist with this you could try contacting phone support to see if they can help. They may be able to remove the currency and help you apply it to the proper account but there are no guarantees.

Cheers onyx62is. I have been in contact with support and they say there is no way to rectify my issue due to their system.

I did not think but both users were signed into the console at the time of loading the credits and it switches users often depending on what controller presses the home button (if assigned to separate tags). I have this issue often while playing co-op games
and often have to select the user next to the notification icon to make sure my account appears on the screen.

Wish there was a way to fixing the issue
