I have a child who has Systemic JIA and Systemic Lupus. Xbox has been his sanity at times.....Gotten him through some really rough times.Yesterday after being released from the Doc's we stopped at Walgreens to get his prescriptions, while waiting
for them he talks me into letting him purchase a Xbox gift card with his birthday Money. So my excited child takes his giftcard home....proceeds to barely scratch the back to reveal the Redeem code....and it removes not only the grey covering the code....but
the actual code itself! So i call Xbox....and explain what happened....for them to tell me there is nothing they can do!!! They proceed to tell me...I will have to " Eat" That cost! They think were are stupid!!! That we do not know that they can trace
that giftcard by the serial number underneath the purchase bar code! That they can easily verify that the card had been purchased, and loaded....with the amount loaded onto the card! So Microsoft Corporation is now stealing money from sick little kids!!
Its sickening really!!! My son went from Happy and excited to being in tears and crying his money has been stolen....and Microsoft could give a rats ****! Its becoming very clear this Corporation is all about the money and not their customers...Their giftcard
was defective....and rather than honor and stand by their services and products....they steal steal a kids money! Right now......Seriously thinking about taking that xbox one out into the back yard and filling it full of buck shot.....and replacing it with
a PS3 from Sony.........cause they don't pull this **** or steal their customers money!!!! Oh....I also offered to take a picture of the receipt along with a picture of the front and back of the gift card....at which point i was hung up on! I repeatedly
called back.....to be repeatedly hung up on!! Great Company huh?

Your only option is to contact the retailer and see if they can do anything about it
