    Is it true that Microsoft will not be making anymore consoles but will have old and new xbox games play on PC with Windows? I'm not sure if this is a rumor or not. but it does sound cool.

    Nothing has been announced, but I highly doubt that will happen.

    Consoles are a lot cheaper than PCs, so it's a huge market that they'd be leaving open for Sony and Nintendo if they no longer made Xboxes.

    Also, the word "Series" in the names of the current gen Xboxes implies that they are the first in a series of machines.

    As for playing older Xbox games on PC via emulation, rather than having a "Play Anywhere" version of a game or using streaming, I guess it's possible, but nothing has been announced. I dunno if it would be much of a priority for them compared to backwards compatibility on consoles, cos with consoles they want people to be able to bring their games forward to future consoles.

    My Games & apps and select the content you want to download to your new console.
