Microsoft Considering Automatic DLC Download Feature For Xbox One

"I was at Major Nelson's live podcast when he addressed this. He stated the concern is with regions and ISPs who have data limits. I'm hoping they do find a work around to make something like this happen though."

I dont understand that concern. Surely that same mindset applies to Auto updates as it is now. Also it can be as silmple as in a UI update adding another check box in preferences

I thought the same thing when he said that. Why not just add it as another box in the preferences but that was all he said.

Bowski it really is as simple as that. I guess just buying time until they include it for preview.

I've noticed a lot of DLC comes in the form of 'updates' which every gamer gets regardless of it they've purchased the DLC or not.

For example, The Evil Within recently did a fairly large update as the DLC is coming out tomorrow, I have this feeling that if I purchase it, I won't have to wait until it's downloaded and it will install almost instantly. I could be wrong though, but Dead
Rising 3 did a similar thing.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind this feature.

As long as the feature was off by default, I could see people liking this. First time the X1 downloads anything without my O.K., it would be taken out back and "put down"
