Microsoft Completely Dropped the Ball - Xbox Family Management

Microsoft, you guys have failed. Here's why:

1. A recent update to Minecraft Windows 10 Edition introduces limitations on Realms based upon the Xbox account's privacy settings. Makes sense.

2. If the person playing Minecraft is a kid, then that kid cannot change their own Xbox privacy settings to allow them to play the game. An adult in their Xbox family has to. Again, makes sense.

3. The only way to add somebody to an Xbox family is with an Xbox console.
Can't do it online or with the Windows 10 Xbox app -> workflow defect. You can add an account to a Microsoft Family online no problem, but not an Xbox family, which is apparently a separate system. Even customer support cannot do this (had a 60 minute
support call that yielded this nugget. So a $10 Windows 10 app - an app built by Microsoft - running on a $2k Surface Pro, can't run properly without a simple task that requires a $400 Xbox console.

All I want is to play Minecraft with my son in a safe and controlled Realm, while ensuring that my son's accounts are set up to provide me with parental control over what he can and cannot do. You have made this impossible Microsoft. Complete customer
experience fail.

Xbox one activity ( achievements ) games played etc etc not showing up on your profile on 360 and xbox.com

Which is completely ridiculous. Your 360 friends should be able to see which Xbox one games you have been playing and what you're currently doing on xbox one on their xbox 360's. The two consoles should be socially tied together, Microsoft dropped the ball
