Microsoft charged me without renewing my Xbox Live?

Hey, so my problem is this, apparently I've had automatic renewal activated for my Xbox Live account and Microsoft failed to charge me during a month or two which resulted in me getting suspended until I update my payment info. So I went on Xbox and attempted
to update my payment info, entered the credit card info and such and I ended up getting charged twice, and my account remaining suspended still asking me to update my payment info(?!) I've no idea what to do, can't cancel my Xbox Live subscription because
whenever I try, it asks me to buy Xbox Live which is still somehow activated for my account

Problem with xbox live membership

I bought a 1 month xbox live membership on 12/22/2016. I didn't choose to auto renew. I checked my bank statement and saw that I was charged on 2/16/2017 for a 1 month membership. I used my microsoft reward points to get a membership on that date, and I
definitely didn't choose to auto renew. I was charged again on 3/17/2017. This is ridiculous! Not only was I charged for using my points, I was charged again without my knowledge and without auto renewing! I want my money to be refunded back to me!

Hey mate, when this happens it's best to contact phone support to clear up the issue.

It may have charged you twice because there was a lapse in payment and therefore a missing month which you had no paid for. You can check full details of charges and what they were for here:

I got my Paypal on my account

And if I was in this situation and it wouldn't stop trying to renew my LIVE, I can set my Paypal to no longer allow Xbox LIVE to charge me without confirmination from me.

Same problem with me but i canceled my auto renewal last year and xbox live turned it back on to charge me without permission. Now my account is suspended and i can't remove my credit card... good thing my credit card expired before they charged me 60$ that
i cant afford at the moment.

P.S. - To do with the extra charge on the card I didn't make the purchase on, I have have troubles with my PayPal being charged by Microsoft before without me making a purchase. Previously I bought a month of Gold membership, then turned the auto renewal
function off, but I was still charged for an auto renewal, I had to phone in and get support to turn the auto renewal function off on my account.

I don't know if that is of any significance, but that was a past problem with charges.

You could've had automatic renewal for your xbox live account if anything that could be why your account is recently charged without you buying anything because it could be on automatic renewal
