Microsoft changed my address by switching the I and the E for my replacement series X

I sent in an Xbox series x 2 weeks ago for repair. Today I saw my status changed and another order was created by Microsoft to send a replacement. I checked the shipping address and they must have changed it by one letter on accident. The original service order had my correct address, but they misspelled it when creating the new order by one letter. It’s supposed to be leith and not lieth. I contacted support and he elevated my issue to the offline team. What can I expect? Will I be in fault for them changing my shipping address by one letter? I have screenshots of the orders side by side showing they messed up the address, which I know happens and I’m not angry but I want to make sure I don’t lose the 500$ I spent on this console.

Whilst the address spelled wrong is not ideal, I wouldn't imagine it would make much difference in reality. I am presuming you are in the U.S.? You have area codes yes? Much like here in the UK, an address may be spelled incorrectly but, as long as the area code is correct then you should be fine. Unless of course there is both a Leith and a Lieth in your area with the same street names of course

Personally, my local council has my Post Code (equivalent of your area code) wrong yet my letters still find their way here.

I didn’t initially but i went back and changed it to my home console and that fixed my profile issues i was having first day. I am in the process of rebooting everything and i replaced all the ethernet cables between the series x and the modem. A tv on
the same ethernet switch as the xbox series x was having connectivity issues too. I’m hoping rebootong that switch fixes it, but that doesnt explain why i can play some games but not others and my streaming aps work.

Hi there. I have tried almost every possible method of restarting, resetting and everything inbetween. Ports are forwarded, etc.

The thing is, I have my Xbox One and Series X set up beside each other. Due to the Series X’s problems, I can switch off my Series X, and switch on my Xbox One, and have no connection issues.

Both playing on the same wifi, both wireless connection, with all the same settings (except the Series X is running on 120fps).

Something is not right with the Series X and I believe it’s more than just needing to reset my MAC address...
