    It depends on what state you are in. Every state has a different sales tax (or no sales tax). The best way to price it out is to go to the best buy website(if thats where you plan to buy it) and put it all in your cart but just don't check out completely.
    That will show you your total with tax.

    You would have thought that Games On Demand would be cheaper to games that are sold in retail shops, because there are no costs involved in:

    - Manuals

    - Game Cases

    - Sales person in retail shop (wages)

    Microsoft only want to charge high prices for people foolish enough to buy them, without researching the actual prices.

    You can get Halo: Reach Limited Edition for cheaper than half price, compared to the Game on Demand version.

    The price that private retailers sell games for has no effect on how much the game developer and the console marketplaces sell the same game for. It'd be great if it worked like that, but it doesn't. It's all about convenience I guess.
