    Microsoft being extremely annoying.


    I cannot make it so that random people online who search my gamertag can see my full name because I am under 18, I am 15 and I cannot have privacy online because Microsoft doesn't want me to. So I have to lie and put a fake name so that people can't dox me. I also cannot use lots of services because my account is "underage". Why does Microsoft let random people dox people under the age of 18? Microsoft is annoying and scummy. The only reason I use it is because I have Windows and Minecraft. I wish I was never forced to migrate my account to this platform.

    I'm sorry you're not happy with the limitations of your account. Unfortunately, this isn't Microsoft's decision, but rather it's governed by international laws regarding minors' use of gaming services. Age requirements vary from country to country, so depending on where you live, you may gain full access upon reaching the legal age of majority. In the meantime, if an adult adds you to a family group, they can grant you access to activities currently restricted for you.

    I believe you might be interested in a couple of links that provide insights into sharing your real name on the Xbox network, explaining how not to share it and why it's actually a good practice not to do so.
