    microsoft balance not showing when i try to purchase add on


    I had a $1.09 balance on my microsoft acct. Bought a $5.00 gift card online at walmart.com. Entered in the code and my balance is showing $6.09. Go to purchase the need add on for Hunter Call of the Wild that is 3.99 and when i go to check out it shows my balance is still $1.09 acting like i dont have enough money.

    I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

    After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

    First, please select Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    Then, select System > Settings > account > remove accounts and then select your account and select Remove to confirm.

    After you will need to perform a quick power cycle on your console, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

    If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble using your Microsoft balance. Is your Microsoft Balance not showing as an option when you try to purchase? Can you please confirm if you're trying to purchase on Xbox or PC Microsoft Store?

    If your Microsoft balance is not showing up, please try to complete your purchase from the store through a browser. Please go to Xbox.com then check if your balance will show up during check out.

    You can use your account balance to purchase games on the store, but, you also need to have a registered payment method, in case the balance is not enough to cover the price of the game you are purchasing.

    But it should display the account wallet on checkout.

    In this situation, the best course of action is to contact Support.

    Then, follow these steps:

    Type in your query: "Unable to complete a purchase"

    Click on Get Help.

    Scroll down the page and click on Contact Support.
