    Microsoft asking to use a vpn to log in to my account


    When I try to log in while on the official Minecraft page or even Microsoft page, the page ask for mail address and then password, when I write the data then the page reloads and ask for me to use a vpn to be able to log in (I had to do a research to know what vpn are safe to use, I had to download a third party program to be able to log in) I have to do this each time I try to log in the Microsoft account and it's really annoying, I don't want to have a third party vpn installed on my pc.



    This started to happen after I added the google authenticator to have more security, it didn't happen when I just logged in with a code sent to my Gmail. Should I delete the additional security so I can just log in with the code sent to my email? I would like to have that extra security but it's kinda annoying to have the vpn installed and have to use it each time I have to log in to my account.

    Sadly, didn't fix the problem.

    The only deviation was, that after I executed the WSReset.exe and the Microsoft Store opened, I was automatically logged in and was not asked for any login credentials. Probably those were already deposited by Windows itself?

    Why would it be necessary to use a VPN? Are there any free to use VPN services? I'm not familiar with VPNs.

    I need my account unsuspended

    Logged into microsoft account webpage under security link looked at recent activity and identified account logins listed on 12/1 at 7:55 pm a successful login from ireland ip address 52.236.20.2 the same day my account was suspended. Somebody either used a vpn or based in ireland successfully hacked my account
