    microsoft and xbox scamming us


    August 15th 2 pm in the afternoon my xbox started disonnecting from gta online and my xbox would sign out and then not let me sign back into online....

    for no reason..

    i did nothin wrong my xbox is perfect condition and i cant connect to xbox live or the internet now

    its been 2 days

    everyone is having the exact same problems yet i see people posting videos defending xbox staff saying OH.. do this simple unplug and restart to fix it... ( shut up no MR.StupidIdiot ) ITS MICROSOFT AND XBOX SERVER OR UPDATE that broke all our machines

    its not US

    its THEM...

    if they seriously cant get every single persons xbox fixed that was effected in the last 48 hours cant we sue them for selling faulty broken equipment ? because i think the exact definition of a scam is to pay for something u dont receive... so microsoft
    scam ?

    48 hours still waiting for my xbox to let me connect to online

    atleast 50 % of xbox community is getting this same problem

    im hoping it hasnt effected my xbox permanently or they will have to repair it not me

    does this not make sense? how can they sell something broken.

    how much money did we all spend for monthly subscriptions monthly special passes and games or new controllers for this system...

    I find it amazing that Microsoft will accept my money for new balls....to buy tickets and keys....BUT THEY KEEP SCAMMING US WITH THE SO-CALLED FREEBIES....THAT NEVER WORK

    Just a general point before I address your concern... Being agro and insulting people (in the post that we deleted) is against the Code of Conduct and frankly is just not a good way to talk to people in general, much less when you are asking for help. Please
    be polite and respectful to others when on our forums. Thanks.

    Regarding your issue, Xbox Live had an outage on the 15th that resulted in a portion of our subscribers being unable to connect to the service, and apparently you are one of them (as was I). It was back up the same day and as far as I am aware, Live has
    not had any issues since. The outage was not due to an untested update or any change to your console, and all of my Xbox's have been online since, including this morning.

    There could be a caching issue specific to Xbox Live on your modem and/or router that is impacting your ability to connect, so if you have not already done so, I would suggest a quick restart on those. If that does not fix the issue, then we would probably
    need more specific information to be able to troubleshoot further for you. From the phrasing in your post, it does not sound like you are home and able to troubleshoot right now, so perhaps you can reach out to us when you are.

    Yes. Microsoft scammed you. Microsoft scammed us all. This is a disgrace and we should raise hell for this. So many people missed out because they spent their $500 at the microsoft store instead of elsewhere which would be selling for launch day.
