Microsoft and Xbox need to get back to gaming.

I've been a fan of Microsoft and Xbox for a long time now and have always defended them, but it feels they've lost their way recently. For starters, this Titanfall/Xbox One bundle is a joke. They couldn't even be bothered to include a hard copy of the game
in it. I realize they save money, but people want bang for their buck and something to show for it. People want to be able to hold the item in their hang and trade it or sell it if they don't like it or get tired of it. I'm not going to complain about people
buying the bundle getting a free game. I'll gladly pay 60 dollars for Titanfall, no problem there, but Microsoft is bleeding money with this crappy promotion and not just this one, but others as well like getting DLC first for CoD. I don't think anyone really
cares who gets the DLC first for some map packs or new skins. They need a gamer or someone close to the community to be coming up with ideas for the company. Not some introverted programmers. They at least need to listen to more of the feedback that everyone
is giving.

to be honest do we really need a gamerscore and cheevo's.i say microsoft go back to the old way of gaming.

 

Last I checked I'm currently gaming, so no they don't.

 

Not directed at SS, but some "gamers" need to get back to gaming, and stop complaining about MS and the Xbox.

Games are out there, and more on the way.

 

titanfall, DR3, Ryse, Forza, Halo Spartan assualt, powerstar golf, crimson dragon all in the launch window. not bad for a launch lineup of exclsuvies. Gaming is fine. they just need to fix some issues which they are working on

 

Been gaming on the X1 since launch, not sure what you mean.

 

I think the Xbox one + digital Titanfall bundle for $500 is an excellent idea...and WILL sell consoles.

 

Maybe they'll give us "Day One" adopters a free season pass if we pay the $60 for the game next month.....doubt it lol

 

I'm not sure how they lost their way by giving away a digital copy of Titanfall in the limited edition bundle. I could see your point if the new bundle was priced $60 higher, but it's not. The game is free.

As for Microsoft "bleeding money" with their promotions, unless you have access to the amount they are bleeding and have to pay for it, I'm not sure how it matters. Xbox fans having first crack at DLC for the most popular games
doesn't strike me as a bad thing as an Xbox owner. Neither does a free copy of Titanfall.

MS has made the XBone to be more versitile than just a gaming console. With more options it appeals to a broader spectrum of prospective clients. The core of XBox has been & will probably always be gaming. Dont be misguided by all the other options.

 

I suppose with "Games with Gold" they should send everyone with xbox live two games on disc in the mail every month???

 

I knew there would be someone complaining because they cant trade off their free game.
