    Microsoft all access Different gamertag


    I have just purchased a Series X via GameStop with all access. I am trying to access my 24 months of Game Pass Ultimate on my Xbox gamer tag that may or may not be different than the one I purchased the console on, as I have no idea if they are different or not. How do I activate my 24 months on the gamertag I use and have my purchases/saves through? Thanks!

    That's the problem. The console doesn't have it anywhere to redeem my GamePass Ultimate. Where the FAQ tells me to go, there is nothing there for redemption. It never prompted me at all during setup either. In Account, there is no setting to choose that says "This Xbox comes with".

    It doesn't matter what account you used to purchase the console. When you set it up, it should ask if you want to redeem the 24 months. If you're signed into the account you want it to be used on, then you'll agree to activate it then.

    That can mean the retailer didn't enter the serial number correctly for All Access. You'll want to contact them about that. If they can't do anything, you'll need to try the credit company that deals with All Access.
