so yesterday i got a 15 quid xbox credit game-card, which i then proceeded to enter into my xbox live account, then i realised my xbox was in dollars. I changed the email/microsoft account of the actual xbox live account to one that was actually registered
in the United Kingdom, but the new email account is not appearing? and my xbox is still in dollars...can someone please help?

Hi there,

if this is happening on the xbox 360 console, it means that your xbox live account is a US account and not a UK account. Please check this link to see what is shown in the Country/Region field:
live.xbox.com/.../BillingAccountInformation

If it is US you will need to Migrate your account to the UK (Changing the email address won't help), but be sure to check the possible consequences.

See this link for all the information on how to Migrate an account (if the region doesn't match your actual region):

Be aware that this can only be done once every 3 months.

Why not buy a subscription from 1 of the websites ?

I know you were wanting to use your microsoft balance but you can get a 12 month sub for like £25 or you could the other day.

Be cheaper too.
