    Microsoft account with xbox needing changed


    Hey,

    I am looking to see if there is any way to change my Microsoft account email but keep all my other info the same along with keeping all my rewards and my account how it is now. I used an email address for my Microsoft account that I never use and now want
    to change my email but don't know if that possible to keep everything the same except just change my email so my notifications and everything go to my email I use.

    Do I still need a credit card to purchase games on demand?

    Since Microsoft points have changed to real currency does that mean I can just load up my account from EB Games and purchase full retail games without needing a credit card?

    Hey there Lefteris27!

    You'll need to change the Microsoft Account associated with the created Xbox Live account. Check out the steps on this

    Microsoft Account Troubleshooter     to get it changed correctly. You may need to create a third Microsoft Account as a "dummy" account to free up the account you wish to use.

    Can you change your xbox live account login email?

    Yes, you need to register the new one as a Microsoft Account at signup.live.com then on your Xbox go to Settings -> Account -> Account Security -> Change Microsoft Account.
