    Microsoft account well and truly hacked!


    I have been trying to get my microsoft account back for over 2 months now. Every time I manage to get passed the recovery form - the hacker jumps on and diverts emails to them (I can actually see the email address they are using) or changes the password
    again. I managed to ring a 1800 number for microsoft and activate the recovery process via phone however the hacker once again intercepted it and stopped the process.

    Can anyone help me at this point?

    I cannot get passed the forms online for recovery and they have changed so many details that my own details are starting to sound dodgy, if that makes sense.

    I have an Xbox and microsoft suite subscriptions attached to it so to just give it up is quite frustrating, especially to my 13yr old who will lose his history on the Xbox. Is there any way to unlink the Xbox to that account so he can preserve his history?
    The only way I can find involves signing in to the account, which is the whole problem.

    Why on earth would they do this? I cannot understand what they are getting out of it?

    does the game show up in your download history on the console? Dashboard>Settings>Account>Download History. If it does, you can grab it from there.

    It is possible to hack an account as nothing is really 100% secure. However if they are threatening with it, they can't do it. If they were truly skilled enough to hack, they would just do it...
