    Microsoft account on nintendo switch minecraft not working


    My partner was playing minecraft on my switch on their account, they signed out and cleared sign in data and then switched to xbox. I signed in to my account on switch and opened a world, invited them to play and they tried to connect but it says they
    are playing in the world on another console. We have tried turning both consoles off and on again, signing in and out, changing passwords and nothing has worked. Is there anything we can do??

    Trying to sign on to my Microsoft account on minecraft for switch.

    This is not the first time I've signed into my Microsoft account for minecraft or Nintendo switch. I have tried multiple wifi connections, and the only error code it gives me is error code 500 and says xbox live cannot complete this request. I am able to log into my Microsoft account on the regular Microsoft website, just doesn't work for the website to connect it to my minecraft for nintendo switch

    Same issue here. If I log into Minecraft on my Nintendo switch under my Nintendo account, I can see the DLC. But it will not sync over to my Microsoft account to be able to play on different devices.

    Has anyone had luck syncing purchases made with a Nintendo account to a Microsoft account in Minecraft marketplace?

    To set up Bedrock Edition on your Nintendo Switch for free after purchasing Java Edition in January 2022, you will need to follow these steps:

    Log in to your Mojang account on the official Minecraft website.

    Go to your account settings and look for the "Claim your free copy of Minecraft" option.

    Select the "Redeem" button next to the Nintendo Switch option.

    You will be prompted to enter your Nintendo Switch account details.

    Once you have entered your Nintendo Switch account details, the Bedrock Edition will be added to your account.

    Go to the Nintendo eShop on your Switch and search for "Minecraft."

    Download and install the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft.
