Microsoft Account issues

Ok I just got my X-Box One last week and when it came time to set up my account I choose to lock the account down and have to enter my MS Account password every time which isn't all that big of a deal but my MS account has double authentication set up (that's
not what they call it but I can't think of the name) so I get a text and have to enter a code from my phone to sign in usually on any of my home PC's this isn't really an issue since I get the option to check the I sign in frequently from this computer and
you aren't asked to authenticate it more than just the first time with X-Box One this isn't an option and it turns out that every time I sign in I have to enter a code from my phone or my email but I didn't have my phone handy so I had to run and get it. I
would like to change my account settings and be done with it but I don't see any options for doing so I was hoping someone could help me in resetting my account without to much difficulty.

Microsoft Account Issues

I have $89.00 in my personal account and I've been trying to get it to transfer into my Microsoft Account. I used a pre paid code that was worth $54.00 on my Xbox 360 and it said that the money was put into my MS account. Then a second later it says that
my MS account is at $0.00. I just got a $15 Xbox card to purchase a movie and it said that my MS account is now at $15, and then a second later it says MS account balance $0.00. I logged into my MS account on the computer and it says that I have $89.00 in
my MS Account with $0.00 expiring in 30 days. My Xbox 360 doesn't give the option to pay with my MS account and I've talked to Xbox support many times and they couldn't fix this and they wouldn't transfer the money in my personal account into my Microsoft
account. I need help on this issue, so I can use the money in my account.

Microsoft account issues

When I log onto my xbox, it asks me to log into my microsoft account. I do so, it connects me to xbox live but then it gives me a message saying something is wrong with my microsoft account, error code 831188FE. My xbox live status is good, i can connect
to my microsoft account and nothing seems wrong. have contacted xbox support and could not get a solution. I've been an xbox live gold member for 6 years and this is the first time I'm having these issues.

Please help!!

I think if you go into your MS account settings on your PC you can turn of the " two click authentication ". I had a similar issue with it, also played up getting my emails in my Iphone. Just unclick the box.

It is not possible to move content from one Microsoft account to another Microsoft account. If you call Xbox Support by phone and can verify the name address and phone number on the account support should be able to provide the Microsoft account info to
you.

Hi Bsam,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are trying to recover the account. Even though the AOL email is deactivated it is only used as a sign in on Microsoft. To change it you first need to get into the account. Unfortunately, the only way to
do this is through the
account recovery form. You can fill the form out as many times as needed. There is a wait period between each form though. We recommend when filling the form to make sure the name and birthdate are exact. Also, when asked if purchased anything select yes.
This will get it to where asks for your gamer tag and console ID. The ID can be found under console info and starts with a FD on an Xbox one.

Thank you for your answer. When I created a new Microsoft account I never subscribed a new gamertag; I only created a new e-mail address.

By the way, I think I'll contact the support.
