Microsoft account issue

Hi all.

In the 2010 I sign into Xbox LIVE using a Yahoo e-mail address to create a Gamertag on my Xbox 360. Last year I updated my PC to Windows 8 and then I created a new Microsoft account through it. So I decided to move my Gamertag on the new e-mail address.
Unfortunately from that day, every time I bought something from the Marketplace I receive the invoice on the old e-mail address and the purchase is listed on both my accounts, like if I buy the content twice. I've fixed the contact information but the issue
still happen. Not only that, yesterday I've seen that if I add payment methods on my Gamertag, these are associated to the old account. What can I do? I've thought to close the old Microsoft account but I really don't know if this is the right solution.

You should be able to download your brothers profile and get back to playing Ghost. In this link it will tell you how.

Microsoft Account issue

I had to start a new gamer tag because I got Windows 8 and that was the only way to listen to music. I created it under my mom's microsoft account, that my brother had a tag for his xbox live to play on his xbox. When we went to connect his new Xbox, his
gamer tag was no longer there, only mine was. I tried to cancel mine, but I can't figure out how. But I also have Office 365 for my college work, and I believe that I need to have a microsoft account to keep it up to date. I don't know what to do. My brother
is so mad because he can't play his new COD: Ghosts on live because he doesn't have his gamer tag. And when he tried to access Live using my tag, it said that mine was not allowed to access Live. HELP!!!

Hello ,

There can only be 1 Gamertag linked to 1 email address. When you created second account using Windows 8, you also created second Gamertag with it. Since you still use old Gamertag to play online, your yahoo account is most likely set as a contact email for
both accounts, this will explain why you receive invoice on that account. The best way in this situation will be to get in touch with Xbox Customer Support, they will be able to locate both accounts, and provide you with all further details and info on what
can be done. Hope that helps.

Thank you for your answer. When I created a new Microsoft account I never subscribed a new gamertag; I only created a new e-mail address.

By the way, I think I'll contact the support.

It is not possible to move content from one Microsoft account to another Microsoft account. If you call Xbox Support by phone and can verify the name address and phone number on the account support should be able to provide the Microsoft account info to
you.

Hi Bsam,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are trying to recover the account. Even though the AOL email is deactivated it is only used as a sign in on Microsoft. To change it you first need to get into the account. Unfortunately, the only way to
do this is through the
account recovery form. You can fill the form out as many times as needed. There is a wait period between each form though. We recommend when filling the form to make sure the name and birthdate are exact. Also, when asked if purchased anything select yes.
This will get it to where asks for your gamer tag and console ID. The ID can be found under console info and starts with a FD on an Xbox one.

I think if you go into your MS account settings on your PC you can turn of the " two click authentication ". I had a similar issue with it, also played up getting my emails in my Iphone. Just unclick the box.
