Microsoft account is connected to 3 xbox profiles?

Hi there,

You can upgrade your offline profile to an profile with xbox live access, but you will need an Microsoft account (windows live account) that doesn't already have an xbox account connected.

Since you mention that there is already an xbox account connected to your Microsoft account, you will first need to remove it. This can be done by

1. downloading that profile that is already connected to your Microsoft account

2. Move that xbox account to a other/new Microsoft account (this can be done after 30 days, and is a security measure)

3 now you are able to promote your offline account and connect it to your Microsoft account (the windows live account) since it no longer holds an xbox account.

4. When the offline profile is Signed in, press the guide button and select 'connect to live' and follow the steps.

Alright. Hey after spending the last 3 hours battling to figure this out. turns out my main profile was connected to the incorrect Microsoft store account and they didn't match. I also couldn't find anywhere in the Xbox pc app that let me see what email the account was under only what Microsoft store email it was connected to. I had to boot up my Xbox one just to find out it's connected to some dusty account. Finally despite my main account not being under the account in question, two accounts still are. visually it says they are in a family together (I never made or set up these accounts and they have very vulgar bios that seem almost against ToS), but they can both be accessed by entering the account info related to the same account (ie if i sign in with my email it will connect to one, and if i use my phone the other).

Did you check if you have aliases on your main account?

Try sign out from your accounts everywhere, Xbox PC app, Microsoft Store, and if necessary create a local user on your windows PC and try sign in with 1 email account on both Microsoft Store and Xbox PC app and test

Try deleting the accounts that you don’t need via your family tab

That's not possible, a Microsoft account is linked only to 1 Xbox gamertag and vice versa.

First you may need to find which Microsoft account/email is the one that owns the subscription

Sign in here:

Once you find it, use that email address to sign in on your PC or where you want to enjoy ultimate

to be able to do so, you will first need to remove the unwanted xbox live account from the Microsoft Account (email address)

To do so,

1. download your profile to the console:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

2. Wait 30 days, a profile needs to be at least 30 days on a console

3. Move the xbox live account to a new/other Microsoft Account

4.Now you can use the freed up Microsoft account to connect the offline profile to xbox live (Sign in with the offline profile, press the guide button on the controller and select connect to xbox live, and use your freed up Microsoft Account to connect your
