    Microsoft account hacked


    One of my Microsoft accounts recently got hacked. The hacker changed the e-mail and the password and I can no longer access this account. When I try to log in with my original e-mail it says that this e-mail doesn't exist as a Microsoft account. However, when I press on the "create new account" option with that e-mail, Microsoft suddenly claims that my e-mail is in fact associated with other accounts including an unknown one, which I'm assuming to be the one I'm looking for, since it was changed by the hacker. Please help.

    Thanks, but that's the problem, my profile logs in, but offline only. If i try to log into xbox live online, it asks for passwords which no longer work. Password recovery and the form asking for email subjects and contacts is a joke, when I only needed the
    email address for my xbox live profile. I've just made another microsoft account, this time without an xbox live profile, just in case somehow microsoft or xbox can move my profile for me.

    I've rang them before and they just pointed me in the direction of the form and password reset pages :-(
