    Hi,

    I had to update my mircosoft account today, and the email I use is no longer working so I can't get the verification code you guys send to verify that it is me trying to sign into my account and I can't change my email because I am locked out of my account
    on this website and my xbox one. Any help would be great thank you.

    This is a big problem indeed. You can only phone the official support to get this fixed, but you may get a 30 day suspension on your account for security reasons.

    If you still own a Xbox 360 you may better try to have your Xbox account transferred to a new Microsoft account instead, as I think this will work without the verification code, but I am not sure on that.

    If you only own a One there is no other way then phone the support team. You will find a proper phone number at

    Xbox Live Account - Email Change - Both Emails have active Xbox Live Accounts *HELP*

    This can only work if your emails are NOT hotmail, outlook or live emails as those are Microsoft email addresses. That may be the cause of your problem. You can not change TO an email that is a Microsoft email. You can change a Microsoft email to any other
    non Microsoft email, though.

    I changed my microsoft account email 1-2 days ago so the friend I with wouldn't have my email.
    It worked he got everything but when I logged into my microsoft account on xbox it wouldn't allow me to connect to xbox live, no games would let me play online, I can't even access my profile page. Please help me fix this.
    I suppose you speak about gameshare feature, that is intended for family members inside the same home, not for friend, this is against terms and conditions
