Microsoft Account Email Won't Update on XB1, Can't Access Xbox Live

For some reason I can't access Xbox Live on my main account despite my Internet connection working. I go to try the log off, log on trick but
the email is wrong (it's not the one I updated on my MS Account) and the password doesn't work so I can't log back in. I try the captcha thing but no matter how many times I do it, it doesn't work. Try audio captcha, doesn't work.

If I didn't have auto sign in enabled, I wouldn't even be able to access my account on my Xbox One at all. On my 360, the email address is correct, and I can log into Xbox Live.

How to Change your Xbox LIVE account information

Overview

It is possible to change information associated with your Xbox LIVE account like your name, address, phone number or email address.

Note: You cannot change the country that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account. If you have moved to another country and you would like to access Xbox LIVE from there, you have to create a new Xbox LIVE account in your new location.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on Xbox.com

1) Go to My Account and Sign In with your Microsoft Account. (This is the email and password that is associated with your Xbox LIVE account).

2) Make the changes you want to your billings account information and then click Save.

How to Change your name, address, phone number or email on your console.

1) Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

2) Proceed to Settings, and then select Account.

3) Select Your Information, and then go to Billing Information.

4) Sign In with your Microsoft account password.

5) Change your billing account information and then click Done.

I can't access my Xbox account!

I can't access my Xbox account it asked for my email and I can not remember the email, how do I find out my email again? It won't even let me onto my account even without Xbox Live

This seems like an account issue and I suggest you to contact xbox live chat support "my account" section to sort this out:

You can't access to a Xbox account without knowing the Email, as the Xbox account its not linked to the Xbox account, the Xbox account its part of the Microsoft account, if you can't remember the Email won't be possible to access that Gamertag

if the primary email address is a Microsoft account (Outlook, Live, Hotmail) it can't be removed as this will close the email account permanently and it will no longer be accessible.

If your email address on your son's account is a Microsoft one (@live, @hotmail, @outlook) then you won't be able to change it. If you do it will close down your Microsoft email and you won't have access to any of the services linked to it.

Unfortunately if you have a Microsoft email (@live, @outlook, @hotmail) you won't be able to change the email, as it will delete the email address completely and you won't be able to access any services or products associated with it. If you have an email

If the email address on the account is a hotmail, live or outlook email and you remove it from the account after adding a new one, he's going to lose access to his email.

You can't separate the Xbox profile from the Microsoft account its' tied to. So don't be in a hurry to change out that email address.
