Microsoft account doesn't exist

I had 2 accounts and I used both, I sent my xbox to get repaired and it was returned as completely reset. I signed into my first account and then tried on the second one, it said that the Microsoft account didn't exist despite the fact that I managed to
sign into before it was sent for repair. Why is this?

Hello fellow gamers,

As of now this has become a huge issue a friend of mine is having. Sadly I have to post on his behalf due to the extent of the issue that has occurred. Essentially he wanted to change the email linked to his account and we used a step-by-step procedure (link
posted below). We did this a month ago and the old email, as well as the new one he used are considered as "Doesn't exists". He has phoned support with this issue and they claimed the accounts do indeed exists, but when trying to sign into them we encounter
the same issue... "This account doesn't exists". The second time he phoned them they hung up on him. All in all he lost 5 years of gaming and about $500, maybe more in games and they won't do anything to hep him. Is there anything we can do to get the account
back, or at least fix the "This account doesn't exists" issue?

kinda same issue here.

so two years ago i deleted my ms account now two years late got a xbox one and created a new account but now i want my old gamertag back so thinking my old account had been deleted i tried to change my gamertag to my old gamertag but got a message that
"that gamertag has already been taken" then i searched about that gamertag and found out that my old account hadnt been deleted yet and then when i tried to log in to my old account it said " there is no account by that email address". so i guess that old
ms account got deleted but not the xbl account as i can still see my old gamertag,acchivement,account description and all.so is there any way to recover that old xbl account or the gamertag now by deleting that old xbl account so that gamertag be available
to put in my new account?

im searching for a solution too.let me know if u find one.

 

Hi there,

are you sure you are using the correct MS account details to sign in?

For example can you sign in with both at xbox.com?

If you are not 100% sure, you may want to check out the steps on this support page:

support.xbox.com/.../forgot-microsoft-account-solution it will have an option (via Xbox Support) to try and get the ms account based on the gamertag

PLEASE help I am having the same problem. I was playing my account in the morning then when I went to log in later on it said my email and password didn't work for signing into xbox live so I tried to sign in at xbox.xom and it said my xbox account didn't
exist. I am going crazy trying to find a solution PLEASE HELP

Are you using the correct email address to log in? Try the solution WPAK posted above and if the issue persists, contact our chat or phone support team through the Contact Us page.
