Microsoft account credit

For 360 content you have to use a 360 console in order to use your Microsoft account balance as a payment option. The website has never been updated to work with the currency system for 360 content.

If I may ask, what is the exact issue that you're experiencing whenever you're trying to use your Microsoft balance?

When purchasing something, you have the option of changing the payment option. You can't use your Microsoft Account credits unless the price of what you're buying is less than or equal to the credit you have on your Microsoft account.



I have $23 and change in my Microsoft Account. I can buy RE4 for $19.99 using my Microsoft Account credits. I cannot buy Skyrim for $29.99 using my Microsoft Account credits. The option is greyed out on the change payment screen.

Your account does not have a Microsoft payable account to deposit into, so the deposit is failing. We cannot deposit Rewards Credits into a non-Microsoft billable account (like Credit Cards). If you wish to receive your deposit,
you must create a Microsoft payable account for us to deposit Rewards Credits into. We can no longer transfer Credits between different gamertags. Apologies for the inconvenience.

If you bought something with credit that is on your microsoft account it will be refunded to your account. Terms and conditions apply.

If you bought via your bank, paypal etc it will be refunded into there.

Any credit that is attached to your Microsoft account can be used for anything Microsoft related. Wont be able to use Microsoft credit to use for example Steam as it is 2 different companies.
