Microsoft Account Balance shows $29 but says $0 is available.

You will need to reach out to
Xbox Support directly for assistance. They would have access to that information.

Thanks for coming to the forums. As parity mentioned it is best to reach out to support in this instance. You can request a call from support by following this guide.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----select Xbox One
  
• Step 2 ----select see other options then subscription changes
  
• Step 3-----select show contact options
  
  Step 4 ----select request call from support
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

You can check your transactions at
http://commerce.microsoft.com This will show any deposits to your account as well as any transactions afterwards that would show if you used them.

When credits are deposited into your account they are added as currency in your Microsoft account balance. So you would use your Microsoft account balance as your payment method.

For issues with the Rewards program, it's best to post in the Rewards forum -
forums.xbox.com/.../29.aspx

So... you're saying you redeemed points but your balance is still showing as 0. If that is the case, then you can visit this link
here and login. When you're at the page, look to the top right, it should either tell you your available Microsoft Points balance or your balance in your local currency.

If you downloaded your profile at a friends house or any console that has the beta then your points (past and future) will now be showing as currency, so you may want to check that out.

Adding: This is unrelated to the current bug that is showing a 0 balance on accounts. The reward was not there yesterday either.
