    Microsoft account balance not updating in the store.


    Bought a £10 gift card, my balance shows as £11.89 in settings but when i go to buy something it shows it as £1.89. I’ve reset my console, turned it off and on again, hard reset it and nothing has worked. If anyone can help then that would be much appreciated

    The store on xbox.com is the same as the store on the One. The One store has never been updated to work with the Microsoft account balance for purchases of 360 content. The only way to purchase 360 content with your balance is through the console itself.

    You can use your Microsoft account balance if you make the purchase from a 360. The One store has never been updated to work with Microsoft account balance for 360 or original Xbox game purchases.

    The 360 store is set up differently than the store on the One/xbox.com. The store on the One/xbox.com have never been updated to work with your Microsoft account balance for 360 content. The only way to use your balance for 360 content is by making the purchase
    on a 360 console.

    The One Store/website have never been updated to see the Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for 360 content. Unfortunately the only way to make the purchase using your balance is through a 360 console.
