Microsoft account balance not showing up on the Microsoft store

I am trying to use my account balance to pre-order an Xbox game on the website and it is not showing up when I select a payment method. The game is only available to pre-order on the website, so I can't buy it on my console, which usually works fine. How can I fix this?

Hi Brad,

Yes we are on xbox one and were trying to purchase Star Wars Battlefront 2. It didn't matter what game I clicked to "buy" on the store on the xbox one it wasn't showing the amount I actually had in my Microsoft account.

I tried a power cycle and it didn't fix the problem. I ended up logging on and buying it from the Microsoft store using the web and downloading it that way. It is not at all convenient though and the problem should be looked into.

Hi,

No I didn't see an error message it just didn't let me buy it because it was showing I didn't have enough funds in the store on xbox one. But when I went into my account settings the money was there. I ended up buying it on the web through the Microsoft
website so obviously the funds were there. For some reason the xbox one store is not linking and updating the account properly.
