    Microsoft account balance isn't showing up in store


    I added a $50 Xbox card to my account and bought some dlc. about 20 minutes later I attempted to buy a game and instead of letting me buy the game it said Get Started! Add a new way to pay.

    Hi Brad,

    Yes we are on xbox one and were trying to purchase Star Wars Battlefront 2. It didn't matter what game I clicked to "buy" on the store on the xbox one it wasn't showing the amount I actually had in my Microsoft account.

    I tried a power cycle and it didn't fix the problem. I ended up logging on and buying it from the Microsoft store using the web and downloading it that way. It is not at all convenient though and the problem should be looked into.

    Hi,

    No I didn't see an error message it just didn't let me buy it because it was showing I didn't have enough funds in the store on xbox one. But when I went into my account settings the money was there. I ended up buying it on the web through the Microsoft
    website so obviously the funds were there. For some reason the xbox one store is not linking and updating the account properly.

    Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear about the issue with purchasing. When trying to complete a purchase, Do you receive an error message? I recommend to try checking your

    Xbox Purchase History     to help see if funds are in the account.

    Are you trying to purchase a backward compatible game? Also are you on an xbox one?

    You can also try a
    Power Cycle     on the console. If that don't help you can also try to Uninstall and re-install
    the profile    .
