Microsoft Account balance can’t be used to purchase Console

Hello everybody,

I am preparing for the Xbox Series X launch and since there is a few occasions coming up for which people want to give me presents, I thought I could ask them to buy me Microsoft store/Xbox gift cards. I of course tried this first, by ordering a five Euro
card online (at an independent retailer). I redeemed it, and I could use it on the store to purchase a new Xbox One S. thus, I told everybody they could give me gift cards.

I redeemed two gift cards each worth 20 Euro yesterday (purchased at the dame retailer as my €5 gift card), the same day on which I redeemed my test gift card of €5. They show up as redeemed in my Microsoft account, and according to the website my total
balance is €45.

However, when trying to purchase a console, I still only see my €5 voucher that I ordered myself (at a local game store). When trying to purchase a digital game through xbox.nl (/.com), it shows me a total of €25, which is still €20 short of the total account
balance of €45.

I’ve talked to a Microsoft support agent last night, and we migrated my account since I moved a lot recently. However, all the gift cards were redeemed to the country that I’m currently in, so it shouldn’t be a problem. He saw the total of €45 attributed
to the Netherlands, which is the current region of my account.

Did anyone experience the same problem before? I can’t test this on an actual console because I don’t have one yet. I’m trying to purchase it in the browser and it’s not working.
