Microsoft 10 digit email code

It normally takes up to 10 days to receive the email containing the 25-digit code.

You have to redeem the 9 digit code at the Microsoft store by "purchasing" the $15 card and checkout using the code. You will then receive the 25 digit code in a separate email that can be redeemed on the console or on Xbox.com.

As AdyCarter says, your original email with the 9 digit code contained all the steps needed to redeem and receive the $15 credit.

I received an email with my $10 gift card with a 9 digit alpha numeric format but the redeem token page it links me to only accepts 25 digit numeric codes.

My issues has been resolved. On January 15th, I received an email with the from name "Microsoft Store" and a subject line of "Your Gears of War Digital Code".

The email had the game download key as anticipated. Thank you all so much for your advice. For those of you who suggested interpreting the "10 days" as 10 business days since the promotion ended, it seems you were spot on.

I'm posting this to give an update and to help anyone that may be looking for their download code.

Was it a physical copy? If so, their may be a code in the case, an email from the retailer or on the receipt if you pocked the game up.

if it was a digital copy, you would likely have an email with the codes. Failing that, if its off the microsoft store, contact microsoft store support
