Microphones on both of my headsets not working since this week's update

Has anyone figured out a solution for this becuase I still havent and its making me mad.

 

Any updates on this, my sons headsets do not work either.

 

I join to the club my mic is dead since 3 days ago i can only hear the chat i tried every suggestion in this post and nothing works this is a software problem

 

SAME ISSUE....TRIED EVERY *** TROUBLE SHOOT, OPENED ALL THE PORTS IN THE *** WORLD AND NOTHING!

 

Took my newest controller over to a friend's house with my XO Ones attached, to see if they would work on his xbox. A while back, My Day One controller wasn't working with the headset, so figured I'd try buying a brand new one, but it the headsets still
didn't work (a;though, I knew the headsets worked just fine when plugged into my pic or my iPad. Anyway, at my friend's place, I registered the controller on his system (he shut off his controller) and the headsets still received no audio. He turned his controller
back on and I plugged the chat adapter and headset to his controller and the headsets worked perfectly. So...I guess the controllers are the issue for me , and the new controller I bought was also happened to be defective? Jeez, I'd hate to have to buy a third
controller, but if that's the fix in my case, I guess I have to. I could pull some underhanded *** and buy one from Best Buy, and if it works, put my old controller in the box and return it. But. That. Would. Be. Wrong.

 

I have also tried everything, 3 adapters, 4 headsets tried, all working on Skype but not on XBox.

Opened all relevant Ports.

Reset XBox Multiple Times.

Nada, I'm taking my XBox back. I bought it from a reputable store 7 months ago.

Frankly, this column shows that Microsoft have no fix for it.

Same problem here. Neither my Pro Sevens or my original Xbox one headsets work. Was going to buy a new controller until I spotted this post.

 

I also have the same problem, I went out and bought an Xbox one two weeks ago. It booted up and updated fine. I put my account on and actually talked to one of of my friends but then the morning after I tried everything the OP did and no such luck. I honestly
thinks it's the update that did this. I exchanged consoles two days ago to see if there may have been a problem there. Again no such luck. But I would like to point out that the controller I got with the original one I bought, I did not take back to the store
as I forgot to put it back in the box. So the Best buy staff took out the controller of my second Xbox one and I'm left with the original and still Party does not pick up my voice. I feel like it's definitely not the console that's having a problem here but
the controller. I tested the headset on my phone and it worked perfectly. My headset is Turtle Beach Recon 50X.

 

im having the same problem my chat works threw kinect but not threw my headset i can hear but can not talk can any one let me know if this has been fixed or how to fix it i was told it is a update for preview members

 

I am having the same problem my mic is not working with my xbox ever since the preview program. Im tired of xbox and seriously thinking about getting a ps4. Ive aldo noticed a microphone in the top right hand corner

 

From my testing it has something to do with the firmware in the USB's. Try unplugging anything plugged into he USB ports. SO basically this means anyone with a external HDD is SOL.

 

We're having this exact same problem. Have bought new headset today. Works fine with iPhone and iPad but no mic when connected to the Xbox one. This is ridiculous!!

 

For the last 3 days or so, my 10 yo said his mic was not working and that he could only hear his friends and not talk to them. I bought a new mic and it still has the same problems. This is really annoying. There has to be a fix out there as it just stopped
out of the blue. System and controllers are up to date.

I have 3 headsets that will not work, I can hear through them, but no one can hear me!! Done all of the prior 25 pages of troubleshooting.

This is BS!

 

I give up, I called Microsoft, went through all the steps, tried two separate controllers, bought another headset and still nothing. My head set is registering but just does not want to pick up sound. Microsoft said my 1 year warranty expired about about
5 months so I have 2 choices. I can use my extended warranty / insurance or I can fill out a claim ticket and pay a flat fee of $115.00 to either have my Xbox fixed or have a replacement sent.
