microphone wont work

Discus and support microphone wont work in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; i have spent hours upon hours trying to fix this. my microphone will not work.     i have spent hours upon hours trying to fix this. my microphone will not work. I have tried every method i've seen. i have all my settings correct according to YouTube. i have trieed the battery trick, the console reset, skype mic test, it will work on every
    device other than my Xbox

    Would the Razer Kraken Pro work with the xbox one stereo headset adapter?

    i've looked around and apparently the microphone wont work so i guess maybe not

    Headphones and mic not working

    Headphones and mic wont work, there is a microphone sign with a cross through on the screen. I have brought a new headset and they won't work as this sign will not go off.

    Mic Problems

    Many microphones wont work when plugged directly into the controller and require a headset adapter (one of those mute, volume up/down devices that plug into the bottom of your controller).

    just had ac chance to do all of these and still nothing. i even do a microphone test in the settings in call of duty and it works there but still wont allow me to talk to anybody so weird. Mic works with every other game except call of duty mf2 and warzone
