Microphone very quiet

    Microphone very quiet


    When I’m in party chat my microphone barely picks up my voice. I can only be heard shouting with the mic in my mouth and even then it’s really quiet for the other party members. I’ve tried multiple headsets that plug into the 3.5mm aux in my wired controller
    as well as trying with a different controller.

    Was wondering if anyone’s experienced similar problems or if anyone knows a fix?

    Microphone very quiet

    You should check the levels of your microphone from the console.

    1. With your headset attached, press the glowing “Xbox” button
    2. Navigate to the “System” tab
    3. Select “Audio”
    4. Adjust the “Mic monitoring” option
    5. Slide the bar left to decrease the microphone volume level
    6. Slide the bar right to increase the microphone volume level

    atleast your sure to get something eventually...last college basketball game i was able to pickup was 4 years ago and none in the making...so ya, could be worse.
