    My microphone picks up even the smallest noise anywhere in my home. I literally have to mute my mic after I talk because it's so sensitive. When in party chat I realize that I'm not the only one with this issue. Is there a sensitivity adjustment somewhere
    ? I haven't found anywhere I can turn down the sensitivity so that the mic doesn't pick up sound so easy. I'm using Tango Black Ops 2 headset with steel chat adapter with chat cable from controller to headset. The mic works great and I have no issue with communication
    but I need to be able to adjust the sensitivity.

    Hi, as far as I'm aware, there isn't currently a way to alter the microphone sensitivity. However, the headset you use isn't an official Microsoft Xbox headset, so perhaps it's the hardware in that microphone/headset that makes it so sensitive, my Xbox headset
    is just fine.

    Yeah it's not a Microsoft headset but it works perfectly on my Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3. I think the real issue is the fact that we don't have an adjustment on the Xbox One. You can adjust the sensitivity on those consoles. Which headset are you using ?

    Hello

    Xbox does not support microphone sensitivity, microphone just run at there defaul sensitivity.

    I am using an Astro A40 with Mix Amp Pro and you can edit the Sensitivity, Mic Monitoring and Audio Profiles on the PC and they carry over to the console.

    My problem is ibhave the black mix amp from when i played ps4. It works fine on my pc but the black mix amp is for ps4 and pc only, i just dont want to spend the money on a new mix amp so i was trying to find another way around it.

    As far as I remember on some better microphones you can edit settings on computer and it will remember.
