    can anyone help me? my microphone is really loud but the windows slider doesnt work microphone slider isnt working :( it stays the same volume on any volume even on 0% , i just upgraded to windows 11 like 2 weeks ago if thats important

    Press Windows key + X

    Go to Settings

    Click Update and Security

    Click Troubleshooter then Additional troubleshooter.

    Look for Playing Audio and run the troubleshooter.

    After changing the percentage have you hit enter? Also, have you tried moving the bar directly instead of changing percentage?

    Nope, the only thing it has on the side is a microphone mute slider, and a volume output adjust. There's nothing else on it.

    Xbox one mic permanently on mute - this seems to be a known issue any fix yet?

    If you have an Xbox headset, there is a microphone and volume button on the wire. You could have this switched off. You want to put the slider thing to the microphone symbol with no line through.
