microphone settings

Hi.

My headset microphone stopped working at all. It is a Stinger Cloud Hyperx 2.

I can listen to other players and so, but can't communicate using it at all.

Could anybody tell me all settings regarding microphone that could be avoiding the microphone to work?

I have tested the microphone in my computer via Skype and it is working fine.

I have also tried some settings in Configuration menu and so, but nothing seems to work.

Yes, on Xbox One S.

I have tested the headset directly on Windows PC.

You can try searching the internet for any specific settings regarding your headset.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

If that doesn't help you should try another controller to see if the controller has gone bad or you could try using the adapter.

Hello! try this: Connect your headset on your controller, connect your control via micro usb cable to your console, go to "settings", "kinect and devices", "Devices and accessories", select your controller and apply an update keeping the headset connected
to the controller

I'll try the hard reset later EXACTLY as you said.

Is it possible to give directions on settings regarding audio and microphone on Xbox One? Which options deal with that? I might be missing some.
