Microphone Sensitivity on XBOX ONE

Hello, does anyone have a solution for Microphone sensitivity issues on the Xbox One?

No I am not talking about Mic Monitoring this is a completely different feature. I am talking about the Microphone is so sensitive that it picks up Party Chat voices from the earphones.

I am using an OFFICIAL Xbox Stereo headset surely Microsoft are addressing or have addressed this issue?

Is there an alternative app where you can adjust Mic Sens on the XBOX like Discord or Skype?!

Any input would be appreciated.

Hello

Xbox does not support microphone sensitivity, microphone just run at there defaul sensitivity.

I am using an Astro A40 with Mix Amp Pro and you can edit the Sensitivity, Mic Monitoring and Audio Profiles on the PC and they carry over to the console.

Hi, as far as I'm aware, there isn't currently a way to alter the microphone sensitivity. However, the headset you use isn't an official Microsoft Xbox headset, so perhaps it's the hardware in that microphone/headset that makes it so sensitive, my Xbox headset
is just fine.

Hello Alex,

Mic monitoring is part of sensitivity, the higher it is the more it picks up. Try lowering this all the way down see how it works.

Thanks for the reply, I mean as far as I can tell this issue has been around a while now it's kinda ridiculous it has not been addressed already.

It's impossible to find the balance unfortunately.

Hi Alex,

It does not seem that there is a specific setting available for microphone sensitivity, the best solution to prevent feedback I could find is to try and balance the distance of the microphone to the cup of the headset, as well as adjusting the headset volume
to prevent sound bleeding out to the mic. Hopefully some support for sensitivity adjustment can be added soon, I'd recommend checking out our
Xbox Ideas page to suggest this.
