Microphone problems with Xbox One Party

Hi

I have some problems with my microphone when I am in a party on my Xbox One. People can barely not here me. If I am in a game like GTA Online, people can hear me and there is no problem.

Has anyone experienced problems like this, and do you have a solution to the problem?

We're unable to find a microphone for these people (XBOX One Party Chat)

Hi, whenever I try and join a party on my xbox one it says "We're unable to find a microphone for these people" at the top of the party. I am using the microphone that comes with the xbox. I know that the microphone isn't broken because I am able to talk
to my friends with it via the Skype app.

 

Turtle beach 420x headset

anyone have the turtle beach 420x wireless headset and have problems with microphone not working. I can hear everyone in the party but they can't hear me.

You sure the people in the party aren't pulling your leg ? Have you tried a party with other people ?

 

I'm actually having the same problem since the update. Party chat, both in game (Neverwinter) and Xbox's Party Chat app, disconnect my mic on my headset. The headset and mic both work in party chat before someone joins but as soon as someone connects with
me they hear me for only a second and then it disconnects my mic. It's not muted. It works fine in Skype. I've tried partying with different users. I've tried updating the controller and headset adapter but no updates available. I've tried different controllers.
I've tried different headsets as well and the only headset that will work is the crappy one that came with the Xbox. I've hard reset the console. I've gone into every setting imaginable and still no go. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

 

What's your NAT type? (How to check NAT type?)
