Microphone problems on Twitch app (Xbox One)

I never had problems to stream directly from Twitch app on Xbox One, since today.

I tried everything, but I can't seem to understand why it stopped working.

The app reads the microphone of my earphones as always, but the app isn't streaming the audio from the mic anyone

    - The microphone is not broken, it always worked and still works with any other device.

    - I already tried other microphones but nothing

    - It's not a controller problem

    - I didn't have any update, not the firmware nor the app

    - Doesn't work with every game (I tried many)

    - I didn't change any setting in-app or outside the app

    - They only thing that happened is the automatic monthly payment for the Gamepass

I don't know what to do.

    :)

    xbox one twitch streaming?

    Hey there KCxGuNz!

Sorry to hear about the chat issue! Before you stream with the Twitch app, the Twitch app should snap to the right. In that menu, navigate to the bottom and select 'Settings' and there should be an 'Enable Microphone' setting, along with a slider to adjust
microphone volume. Make sure your microphone is enabled and your volume is up and post back if that helps you out! :D

How to fix twitch stream audio issues on Xbox series X

Hello, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

This can be frustrating, but there are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

    1. Adjust the mic sensitivity: On Xbox Series X, you can adjust the mic sensitivity to ensure it's capturing your voice properly. Here's how:

    a. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
    b. Go to "Profile & system" > "Settings" > "General" > "Volume & audio output".
    c. Under "Party chat output," select "Headset & speakers" or "Headset only."
    d. Adjust the "Mic monitoring" slider to increase the sensitivity of the microphone.

    2. Check the microphone settings in Twitch: Sometimes, the issue may be related to the settings within the Twitch app itself. Launch the Twitch app on your Xbox Series X and go to the broadcast settings. Look for any microphone-related settings, such as mic volume or gain, and ensure they are properly configured.

    3. Test with a different streaming platform: To determine if the issue is specific to Twitch or more related to the console or microphone settings, try streaming on a different platform, such as YouTube or Mixer (if available). This can help identify if the problem persists across different platforms or if it's specific to Twitch.

    4. Update the Twitch app: Ensure that you have the latest version of the Twitch app installed on your Xbox Series X. Sometimes, app updates can include bug fixes or improvements that address issues like audio problems.

    5. Contact Twitch support: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it may be beneficial to reach out to Twitch support directly. They can provide specific guidance related to their platform and may be able to offer further troubleshooting steps or solutions.

Remember to also check for any firmware updates for your Xbox Series X and ensure that your headset and controller are running the latest firmware versions. Keeping your system and peripherals up to date can often resolve compatibility issues.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the low mic volume issue when streaming on Twitch. Good luck with your streaming endeavors!

    Best regards.

Windows 10 Xbox One Streaming microphone not detected?

That generic support doesn't really apply here. The problem is with a PC microphone, not an Xbox One microphone. The Xbox App on PC detects the mic and it works if I start a party via the app, but it doesn't work in any capacity on the Xbox One for parties
    or game chat.

    Microphone Audio not Streaming

Hello PaulaLGG, My name is David. I am an independent advisor, happy to help you today.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing microphone audio issues on your Xbox One when trying to stream via Twitch. Here are some suggestions that might help you fix the problem:

Check your privacy and communication settings: Make sure your Xbox account's privacy and communication settings are set correctly. You can do this by going to your account settings on the Xbox One. Verify that communication options are enabled and allow your voice to be transmitted through the microphone.

Check your microphone settings on your Xbox: Go to your Xbox One settings and look for the audio or devices section. Verify that the microphone is selected as the default audio input device. If there are any additional settings related to the microphone, make sure they are set correctly.

Update controller firmware: Make sure your Xbox One controller is updated to the latest firmware. You can do this by connecting the controller to the console and checking for available updates through the settings section of the Xbox One.

Restart your console: Sometimes restarting your console can fix temporary audio-related issues. Turn off your Xbox One completely, unplug it from the power for a few minutes, and then turn it back on. This can help reset any settings or connections that may be causing the problem.

Try another game or app: If the issue persists, try using the microphone in another Xbox One game or app to determine if the issue is specific to Twitch or related to your console's overall audio settings.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards.
