Microphone on Xbox App Cutting Out(Windows)

It works some of the time, but then the mic on my headset cuts out, and I need to usually turn off my mic and turn it back on to get it to work again. I've tried multiple headsets, switching to ethernet, and switching wifi. Its a brand new computer.

Any suggestions?

Hello, try seeing if your port is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Dust and other small stuff could be blocking the connection. Be careful of damages though.

If your microphone isn't detected after updating Windows 10, you may need to give your apps permission to use it. To let apps access the microphone, select Start ,then select Settings > Privacy > Microphone . Select Change, then turn on Allow apps to access your microphone!

i tried all that this has be a problem for about a year for me so ya i have tried mostly everything

Try rebooting your PC. If that doesn't help make sure you don't have any background apps running that will be taking time away form your recording.

a clean boot. A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs,
so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.
