Microphone on Headset Not Working Properly

My microphone on my headset does not work on the Xbox. I have tried using two different headsets. Currently I have a Masacegon. I also bought at Onikuma thinking that it was a problem with the Masacegon and when that
one was no better, I returned it so now it's just the Masacegon. I have replaced the batteries in the controller and updated. I have reviewed my settings which show that the microphone is on. Both headsets work(ed) fine on other gaming consoles.

My network settings are open.

The mic volume is up in the game (at least I think it is)

I have restarted/unplugged my console etc.

I have tried testing on Skype and it does not record.

It is not an issue with the 3.5mm socket because I tested both headphones on two different controllers. Same result.

I have updated the controller firmware.

There are going to be some brands of headsets that just do not work with the Xbox

Hi!

Is the microphone working properly? Is the microphone activated from the audio settings?

However, check your
privacy settings to see if the option to talk to friends is enabled.

I could recommend doing a full reset, but I don't think that's the issue.

If possible try plugging your headset into another device to see if the microphone works properly.

Is the microphone for this headset in-line (on the actual headset cable)? I know for other headsets this means the microphone won't work for the Xbox One.

The microphone is muted, not the headset.

The headset and microphone works on another xbox and controller.

I have tried it on 2 controllers on the bone that is muted.
