Microphone not working on Xbox Series X, works on Xbox One

I have two microsoft brand headsets. they both work fine when plugged into a controllers on the xbox one. move the same controller and headset to the xbox series x and i can hear, but the mic does not work. the xbox shows that a mic is present, but it doesn't register any sound. i've tried numerous controllers and it is the same thing. both the controllers have the latest firmware and work fine on both xbox one and series x.

Thx for ur response, but standard USB mics for Xbox one, PS4 or nintendo switch dont work on Xbox series x. I tested them...

The only thing works fine is headphones + mic. But si not a good solution for me and karaoke games.

It would be nice that Microsoft sold official microphones that work with Xbox series x.

I discovered one thing. If I plug any headphones in my Xbox Series X controller (with microphone or without it) it works much better in any of the games that gives the issue. What could be mean?

It is a 3.5mm connection, no firmware on the headset and the controllers all have the latest firmware installed.

Hi!

Try to update the controller firmware again and plug the stereo headset adapter into the bottom of your controller so it can also get updates.
