    I would like to note, if this is just a broken controller with no fix, I have a second controller I can use for a little while, but its left bumper is broken so I don't want to use it unless I need to.

    Hello Joseph, in cases like this can be system-related cosias, hardware, or even your sound card firmware.

    Try first to check if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 22H2.

    See which version of Windows 10 you have

    Updates are often seen as optional.

    Also, make sure all Xbox Apps are up to date in the store, and make sure you have the Xbox Companion App installed, it works with the Xbox App

    After this, try checking your video card drivers if they are installed correctly or require some kind of update.

    It sounds like you are currently having problems with microphone. Sorry for the inconvenience.



    As for your problem, you can try the following solutions to see if they can solve your problem:

    1. Right-click on the speaker in the taskbar > right-click on the microphone > Properties > Remove the check "Listen to this device"



    2. Update sound card driver to the latest (Right click on Start > Device Manager > Right-click on the drivers to update)

    Or go to the manufacturer's official website to update and re-download the driver.
