    My daughter bought a karaoke game- we sing. It doesnt come with a microphone and the one i have with a 3.5mm headphone jack doesnt work when I plug it in to the controller. Can anyone suggest a decent xbox one compatible microphone or way to connect my existing
    3.5mm jack mic?

    You can also basically use any normal headset that's compatible with the controller. but it'll have to be a headset.

    Yes it is possible. Singing games have built in driver support for USB microphones. You only need an Xbox authorized microphone for system level things like party chat

    There should be a connect button somewhere on the microphone, try pressing that and pressing the connect button on the controller at the same time, then move them next to eachother. If that doesn't work, or it doesn't have a connect button, try and see if
    anything else came with the wireless microphone such as a cord with a USB on the end of it. It should have one in order to charge the microphone.
