    Well i recently bought an xbox one s all digital and when i tried to use my headset i can hear everyone and everything just fine but the problem is that mi microphone it's not working (i tried with beats pro studio, then my cellphone earphones, then a friend
    of mine let me use his xbox headset). I downloaded skype to do the headset test and it doesn't recognize any sound emitted from my microphone, also i tried with a app called microphone tester and it didn't recognized any sound as well.

    Also I've tried with almost every possible solution that i could find in this forum and even websites ( like disabling parental control, going to accesories and turning the microphone on, turning off the xbox then i turn it on and connecting the headset,
    assign the controller to my account, going to sound adjustments and selecting dolby and windows headset format, also tried with another controller and nothing works.

    Does anyone have this same problem or knows how to fix this, it's really disappointing because the whole reason to buy an Xbox was to play and chat with friends and family

    Hi, have you tried updating your controller by plugging it directly to the Xbox via usb cable?

    The other way to join party chat is to use the Xbox app, this way you can use you mobile phone's headset or loud speaker to chat with friends.

    Unfortunately it didn't work either, I tried updating my controller just like you said so and it didn't helped, when i joined using xbox app it didn't work either. I dont know what could be happening, today i even tried with a diferent headset, a gaming
    headset and it didn't worked (i knew it wasnt going to work but at least i wanted to give it a shot). Is there anything else i could do to get it working? Also thanks for the time

    Hi!

    It may be a compatibility issue with the earphones. Are you using Xbox headsets or headphones? You can check the functionality of the microphone by creating a group and checking the microphone activity (you should see your logo flash when you speak).

    Also make sure that the microphone is enabled in the settings. Is your NAT open in network settings?

    Hey! Yes as i said on the post, i tried first with beats audio headset, i thought that maybe the problem was a compatibility issue so i borrowed a xbox official headset and i had the same problem with those. Also the microphone is enabled and i just checked
    my NAT settings and it says that it's open ("NAT Type: Open"). What else could i do,
