Microphone does not work after control update.

Hello. Recently I updated my Xbox controller, after updating the microphone of my headset did not work by the control, on other handsets the microphone works and the control does not work. What do I do?

Please help me.

Follow the steps in this support page, Update xbox wireless controller. This needs to be done on all controllers you may use. The uSB method is my preference.

UPDATE - Upon resetting my router, I've finally gotten one controller to work, but it does not allow for a microphone to be plugged into it

try to use the microphone with a mobile phone to verify what is the microphone, if it works it may be the control input that does not work

First, check that the microphone is activated in your audio configuration, second verify that the 3.5 jack of the control is not clogged with something, third if possible test in another contol and finally verify that your control has the latest updates,
In case none of this solves try another device that has a microphone if the problem still does not work is the control

Since the Blue Snowball is an USB microphone, it does NOT work with the Xbox One currently.

Only microphones that plug into the analogue 3.5mm jack of the controller will work. Also make sure, that when you want to use a standard 3.5mm jack microphone, that you will need an adapter that puts the microphone and ground contact at the correct position
with a CTIA adapter.
